Bharunda और उसके दो सिर

एक बार की बात है नदी के किनारे एक Bharunda नाम का पंछी रहता था। वो बाकी सारे पंछियों से अलग दिखता था क्योंकि उसके दो सिर थे और दो गर्दनें भी। एक ही  body पर दो सिर बड़े अजीब दिखते थे। एक दिन Bharunda जंगल में घूम रहा था तो उसे एक अनोखा सुनहरी रंग का फल मिला।

फल को देखकर उसका एक सिर बोला " अहा ! कितना स्वाद दिख रहा है ये फल , मैं कितना  lucky हूँ की मुझे ये मिला .इसे God ने  heaven से मेरे लिए भेज होगा। " इतना कहकर वो फल खाने लगा और उसकी तारीफ करता रहा।

 ये सब देखकर Bharunda का दूसरा सिर बोला कि भाई मुझे भी इस फल को taste करने दो जिसकी तुम इतनी तारीफ कर रहे हो।

पर पहला सिर फल को share नही करना चाहता था, इसलिए वो हँसकर बोला " हमारा एक ही पेट है, हम में से कोई भी ये फल खाये जाना तो उसी पेट में है। तो इस से कोई फर्क नही पड़ता की कौन इस स्वाद फल को खा रहा है। और वैसे भी ये फल मुझे मिला है तो मुझे ही इसे खाने का हक़ है। "

पहले सिर की ये बात सुनकर दूसरा सिर बहुत hurt हुआ और चुपचाप पहले सिर की बात सुनता रहा।

कुछ दिनों बाद, जब Bharunda फिर से घूम रहा था तो दुसरे सिर को कुछ फल मिले जो कि जहरीले पेड़ के थे। दूसरा सिर पहले सिर से बोला तुमने मुझे उस दिन वो स्वाद फल चखने नही दिया था तो मैं भी आज ये फल अकेले खा कर तुमसे अपनी insult का बदला लूंगा .

ये सुनकर पहला सिर मिन्नतें करने लगा की please ये फल मत खाओ।  ये जहरीला फल है तो अगर तुमने इसे खाया तो हम दोनों मर जाएंगे। ये सुनकर दूसरा सिर गुस्से में बोला " Shut up! अब जबकि मुझे पहले ये फल मिला है तो मुझे भी इसे खाने का हक़ है जैसे की तुम्हे था। "

अब ये सोचकर की इसे खाने के बाद क्या होगा पहला सिर रोने लगा लेकिन बिना उसकी कोई बात सुने पहला सिर गुस्से में वो फल खा गया। जिसका नतीजा ये निकला की जैसे ही जहर पेट तक पहुंचा तो उसका असर Bharunda पर होने लगा और वो मर गया।

किसी ने सच ही कहा है :

एकता में बल है।
